UNESCO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

“The musical art of hunting horn players” was acknowledged as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in December 2020. The international application, presented at the Palazzina di Caccia of Stupinigi in 2014, was supported by France, Belgium, Italy, and Luxembourg. In Italy, the UNESCO community of players is represented by the group called Equipaggio della Regia Venaria, which operates with the support and technical-scientific coordination of the Accademia di Sant’Uberto.
